How to be a Consignment Seller on Designers on a Dime
To submit an authentic name brand designer article for consignment, begin by filling out our consignment information form below along with a picture or two. One of our Consignment Specialists will evaluate your item and authorize the consignment. Once your submitted consignment is approved, we will contact you with your authorization and agreement to establish your account. We will send you a prepaid UPS Label to ship your item(s) to our designer fashion processing center.
When your item is received it will be inspected for damage and authenticity. If there are any problem with the received item(s), a Fashion Consignment Specialist will contact, you. Upon evaluation and appraisal, your consignment will receive a stock number and description that will be added to your account. Your consignment will then be off to the cleaning department to make it photogenic.
After our fashion photographers work their magic, our web designers will prepare and list your fashion consignment throughout the Designers on a Dime network of over 53+ Global Shopping Platforms.
As our Fashion Consignment Partner, all the above services are free to you. These services are provided by Designers on a Dime as your Fashion Consignment Partner. The Fashion Consignment Partner agreement is simple. It is a 50/50 split. When your item sells at the evaluated and listed price, you receive 50% of the sale. Designers on a Dime receives 50% of the sale from which all shipping fees, administrative fees, listing fees, photographic fees and processing fees are paid.
If after 60 Days your item does not sell, Designers on a Dime will discount the listed price. The listed price will be discounted every 60 days until the item sells. If after 1-Year, the item does not sell, your entrusted fashion consignment will become property of Designers on a Dime unless you request its return. When requesting its return, you will need to pay in advance for the return shipping via credit card.
